About the Institute
Our college is approved by AICTE & recognized by Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra. We offer full-time Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Applied Art & Painting Affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
B.F.A. in Applied Art is an undergraduate four years’ degree program having 5 versatile specializations i.e.Exhibition Display Design and stage crafts, Illustration, Typography, Photography & Computer Graphics which deals with the application of Web Interface Design and Digital Publishing design.
In today's competitive world advertising field is growing faster day by day thus the job opportunities for the Applied artists are increasing and this degree course gives full exposure to advertising, communication design, print media and electronic media.
Applied Art students can also generate self-employment by working as a freelance artist. They can work in field of Animation, 3D Design, Game design, Website design, Graphic Art, Set Designer, Product designer, Photography and other visual art related fields.
We also offer B.F.A. in Painting which is an undergraduate four years’ degree program having 4 major subjects like Portrait Painting, Painting, Mural and Print Making.
In B.F.A. Painting we mainly focus on the drawing skills of the students as well as their self-expression abilities through drawing and painting.
Majorly makes their living by displaying their artworks in the Art galleries and commission paintings. Through the field of painting focus more on self-expression besides students also have opportunities in the Field of Animation, Graphic Designing, Set/stage Designing, Mural designing, digital painting, Fabric Designing etc.

B.F.A. (Applied Art) or Bachelor of Fine Art in Applied Art is an undergraduate Fine Art course. It is a four years program of study with specialization of Illustration, Typography, Photography, Exhibition & Display Design & Computer Graphic. Which deals with the application of Web Interface Design, Digital Publishing design and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use.
An integrated course is offered in the first year, and the remaining three years are allocated for specialization in Applied Art. In other words, B.F.A. (Applied Art) is a degree that trains a student in the fields of Communication Design, Information design, Graphic design, Exhibition/Display design, Advertising and Photography etc.
The B.F.A. (Applied art) degree course gives full exposure to advertising, communication design, print media and electronic media.
Admission
Admission Eligibility
Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, its equivalent examination with English as one of the subject and secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

Facilities
Spread over 7.5 acres of land the college is located in the heart of city - with excellent connectivity and means to transportation.
Drawing Studio
We have a drawing studio where students learn to draw actual inspirational life. We also have facility to learn in natural environment which gives the opportunity to the students to study in day light.
Library
The college provides adequate reading facilities to the staff and the students. Selected, valuable books recommended by experts in relevant subjects have being acquired by the library. The library subscriptions include well known art journals, periodicals and online journals as well.
Photography Studio
The college has an excellent professional photo studio which fulfills all academic requirements. It has adequate lights, camera, tables, and backdrop system as per professional studio.
Computer Lab
The college has a well-equipped and spacious computer lab with the latest imaging software. The computers are updated with the latest versions of software's like Adobe creative suite, Corel Draw, 3D Studio max, Flash etc.
Auditorium
The college has a well equipped auditorium with projector and audio facility for conducting presentations, seminars and workshops. It has the capacity for accommodating more than 120 students.
Canteen
The college has a spacious canteen within the campus premises. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, soft drinks etc are served here at subsidized rates. The canteen provides hygienic food to the students, staff and visitors.
Stationary Shop
Looking at the needs of the students, where in art students keep on requiring different types of papers, colours and other necessary material. this is made readily available within the premises of the college.
Hostel
A seven storey hostel with capacity of 200 Economically backward class student placed at Antop hill. This hostel will be ready by August 2019. It has 71 rooms in total.
