Staff members of this departmemnt have over a period of time organized various workshops on Rational Rose , Mobile Computing , Networking Linux etc. for students. IEEE-PVPP also organized Technical Festival FISSION. This festival hosted a number of workshops for students giving them exposure to following technical areas such as .Net Technologies , VHDL , MATLAB , JAVA , PC Assembling etc. It also had organized activities such as Paper Presentation , Website Designing Contest , Programming & Debugging and many such which were judged by industry professionals. Experienced industry professional conducted seminars for the students on presentation skills for interviews , group discussions free of cost. Also organized industrial tour to Bangaloreto visit various industries with the view of giving them an exposure to the industry environment.
