The college is surrounded by lush green lawns and absolutely fantastic coconut groves (kudos to the gardening staff for maintaining them well), though the aerial view of the front lawns are slightly marred by the power lines cutting through them. The playground is quite okay for indulging in a quick game of cricket.

The canteen serves as the regular hangout for most of the students due to the lack of any other joints near the college. It boasts of an excellent Chinese cuisine though other preparations leave much to be desired. All said and done it is still 'great value for money'.

Cultural activities have always been an important part of the student life on the campus. The college hosts two festivals every year-one cultural, the other technical.

Finally we come to the most important element i.e the people on campus. The faculty is quite good and the administrative staff is also very co-operative. The students are definitely a cool lot with a propotionate mix of intellectuals, sportstars, literateurs and artists. All in all, PVPP is a fun place to get an education.
